1. Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program for which you have been accepted?
I have the privilege to respectfully address your honour of asking you to consider the possibility of granting me a student visa after having been accepted at the Quebec School of Technology Superior (ÉTS), for the Master of Construction Engineering program(with project), Profile Construction Project Management, for the winter semester 2020 in Quebec, Canada and to respect the terms of my study permit at the end, for a period of 23 months.
I hold a degree in architecture from the University of Sciences and Technology of Oran Mohamed Boudiaf, Algeria, after having specialization in architecture for five years (2007-2011).
Studying in Canada in bilingualism province as Quebec means benefitting from a world-class education system and stimulating student life in a unique environment, with its cutting-edge institutions, low tuition fees, and expert faculty and researchers.Quebec School of Technology Superior (ÉTS) is one of the local leading universities that Specialized in the field of Engineering and Technology in Canada.
2. What is your overall educational goal?
I am currently a resident in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with my wife, where I worked at Sinan Engineering Consulting Office in Dubai from March 2018 to September 2018 as a design architect. After I moved to Emirates Engineer Consulting Engineering from October 2019 still present, as a junior architect in charge of engineering design and Coordinate with Dubai Municipality and Obtaining Building Permit and NOC's through the online Dubai Building permit system (Dubi BPS) in full time with salary of 9000 AED (3199.97 Can$).This is what allows me to contact the engineers of Dubai Municipality and I have a good knowledge of building laws and regulations, I also learned the professional English language used in my field.
My desire to obtain this Master's Degree because all construction, architects have important roles in the construction process. among these, architects are frequently appointed as a construction project manager. in Dubai, There is a very high level of demand for qualified construction project managers in the global construction industry, so getting a highly respected Canadian degree will increase my career prospects and value on the job market. I also met foreign engineers of various nationalities who completed their higher education in Canada and are currently working in Dubai and have high-quality jobs in the largest international foreign companies. The manager of my actual company has a Canadian nationality and knows the value of a Canadian diploma and he encouraged me to study in Canada. What makes me sure of my success in studying this program and achieving a bright scientific future is that it has a strong relationship with the architecture field, construction and my professional experience for 8 years as a design architect and construction project manager following projects from concept to completion, in my country Algeria and Dubai(CV attached).
After completing the master's degree, I want to apply my new Canadian engineering knowledge to my current company in Dubai. I will also study English academic (IELTS Certificate), to obtain a doctorate in Dubai to strengthen my knowledge and expand my academic disciplines.
3. Why are you not pursuing a similar program in your country of residence or of citizenship?
As a result of my research on the study possibilities of this Master in UAE, I noticed that This Master's Degree is available in English only (IELTS/ TOEFL) to study at local and foreign universities as the American University in Dubai, Heriot-Watt University in Dubai. The Canadian University in Dubai there are no graduate studies in my master's programs. I want to study in Quebec to evolve in a French educational environment and improving my level of professional English I learned in Dubai.
4. What ties do you have to your country of residence or of citizenship?
After completing my studies in Canada, I will return to Dubai for many reasons, including our satisfaction during our stay here in Dubai with my wife, which I will miss throughout my studies in Canada, and we will meet again after my return. In addition to my knowledge of the technological development of Dubai in the field of architecture and construction, will continue my development by embracing the Dubai 2020 Expo, which will provide new opportunities and horizons for foreign investors and skilled worker diploma. There is no better place in the world for graduates and job opportunities for construction management professionals than in Dubai.
5. How will this program enhance your employment opportunities in your country of residence or of citizenship?
At short-medium terms, my manager promises me to keep my position vacant after obtaining my diploma, because they need me to be from their height level engineers for change their actual status unlimited company to be a multinational company. Accordance with my new specialized Master's degree, he will promote me from a junior architect to be a senior architect with responsibility as Construction Projects Manager, where I will respond to; Assist the contractors and architects in issuing building permits through authorities. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects to determine the specifications of the project. Consult with clients and company representatives to direct project development.
But in the long term and after the combination of my master's degree with the new occupation in my company, it will allow me to become a perfect senior construction project manager to apply for government positions as Dubai municipality and famous multinational company in Dubai.

For the cost of studies, I attest to being able to pay my tuition fees, living expenses (accommodation, food, health insurance) and transportation costs (round trip from Dubai).
