I received my (BIL) Biometric letter of instructions however I have not received any for my spouse?
Do I wait for his letter or set my appointment for my biometrics and take him with me?
Can someone advise?

yes, you can go ahead and book an appointment at your Visa center in your area, but make sure to schedule a separate appointment for your spouse too, so you will have 2 appointments in total.

The visa center won't take biometrics without a biometric instruction letter, so I recommend that you do yours first to get you into the next step. If you want to wait for your spouse and give biometrics together, it's okay too.

Also, it is normal for the SOWP to take longer if you apply together. If your spouse hasn't received the letter within a week after application, you can contact IRCC via webform and see what happens.
