Hi All,

I would like to try for 2 years course in a college (keeping in PGWP in mind). I am nearly 37 years old.
However I am not sure if my Visa will get approved. The reasons apart from the age are:

1. I have done BBA from Sikkim Manipal
2. Then I started working as UI/Frontend developer (mainly HTML, CSS and Wordpress frontend) and have experience of around 10years in this.
However I am not good at programming and hence struggling to move forward in my career. And will need to learn new UI technologies like React, Angular etc (which I am finding challenging based on Udemy courses/videos)
3. In between my job I had done MscIT from Sikkim Manipal University. Thinking it will add the tech/computer side to my degree and career (in reality it was of not much help in terms of gaining any knowledge)

So wanted to check with experts keeping in mind my age, job experience and education whether do I have chances of getting Student visa approved?
Some friends suggested to look into HR or other fields rather than tech and give reason to VO that want to change because not doing good in technology field.
However I am thinking VO might further reject my application if I select HR or something else other than Computers, IT or Website Development.
Whether I should mention in SOP and to VO that I already did masters in MSC IT via distance learning (irrespective of it being not good or helpful) or should I hide this information and mention only BBA?
With the tech courses I can tell in SOP as I need knowledge of other programming languages as well hence want to take the study/admission further.

Any suggestions/advice? What should I do?
Shall I try or chances are not there?

Definitely in a related field and not some random choice like HR or marketing of which you neither have prior experience or education. Choose a two year diploma with a substantial component of hands on and peer learning which you can justify spending good money on acquiring this in Canada and not via an online program sitting in india.
You will need to speak to an expert in your function and not necessarily an immigration expert

Thank you. Yeah immigration expert may not be of much help. Trying to find someone who is already studying in Canada in similar field who may give some guidance.
