Assalam u Alaikum
I have been admitted in PhD at the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec with a stipend of 25k/year. I have also got my CAQ and GIC from CIBC. I am filling out my application for a study permit via SDS. In the education cost section of the application, there is a mandatory section to write about funds available to you for a stay in Canada. What should I write here? Should I mention the amount that I have deposited in my account for GIC (I don't have any other funds available).
There is also a different section for scholarships in which I have entered "Stipend from research funds of my supervisor" as the name of the funding program and also in the section of who will be paying your expenses in Canada. Should I change it or is it fine?
In the section on education and work, it is mentioned that you should not include your period of post-secondary education in the work/employment section as you have already mentioned it in post secondary education section. But if I don't include this period as unemployment in my work/employment history, I am unable to move to the next section. What should I do in this case?
