Hi, I've read in many threads about US visa rejection not directly affecting your chances of a Canada TRV.
Does it work in the opposite case - if someone has a valid US visa while applying for Canada Stidy permit/ TRV, then do the chances of getting the visa improve?
The logic being, if I had a choice to permanently settle between US and Canada, I would choose the US, right?
Also, the US would have assessed my case and background more thoroughly prior to granting the visa. Would that not put the Canadian VO at ease?
Anyone with past experience, care to share your thoughts?
