Hello Guys.

Me and My wife did the application on Jun 13 (From Inside Canada Online), the biometrics in Jun 14, after that we did not get any update.

We did the medical exam upfront, I`ve being in contact with the Panel Physician and they told me that it was already uploaded to the system.

When we try to register in the IRCC Tracker I get the error bellow:

Correct these errors:
  • Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet.
Shall we receive an AOR for a Study Permit from Inside Canada?

Below our timeline, my wife's intake is Fall 23, and we are very worried about missing that date.

So even if you applied from inside Canada, it is processed from home country unless eligible for inland processing. Eligibility review has yet to start. What is status for SOWP because that may be processed separately with different timelines. SOWP may cause delays too. It can take time for medical to show in the system. Send a webform.

Thank you for your quick response, My wife is taking a course required by the college (Pathway 3.3), does this qualify the application to be processed internally?

And the big question is you know if we shall receive the AOR?

Applicants are processed as inland if they fall under these categories:

Only some people can apply for a study permit from inside Canada. Do any of the situations below describe you, or the person you’re applying for? (required)
You’re currently in Canada and one of these applies:

  • you’re a Ukrainian national or family member of a Ukrainian national
  • you have a valid study or work permit
  • your spouse, common-law partner or parent has a valid study or work permit
  • you’re a minor child in primary or secondary school
  • you’re an exchange student or visiting student
  • you completed a short-term course or study program required to be accepted at a DLI
  • you or your spouse, common-law partner or dependent child has a temporary resident permit (TRP) valid for 6 months or more
  • you’re being sponsored to immigrate and you already applied for permanent residence (if you’re eligible)
  • you or your spouse, common-law partner or dependent child are subject to an unenforceable removal order
  • you’re the spouse, common-law partner or dependent child of:
    • an athlete on a team based in Canada
    • a member of the media
    • a member of the clergy
    • military personnel on duty in Canada or
    • an accredited foreign representative
  • you’re a refugee claimant in Canada or a family member of a refugee claimant in Canada

My son did not receive AOR when we applied for his SP while I was on PGWP. Probably because we applied online.

If application is under process then why do you need confirmation of AOR?

How long was course? If required, then she she should be eligible for inland processing.
It's a 12 week course, it will finish in a week from now.

About the AOR, I'm just asking about it because we can't register with the Application Tracker, so I thought the reason could be that we don't get the AOR. We are now tracking our status on GCKey

If you haven’t completed the course, your study permit may not be processed. Usually you need to show proof of completion and passing the program to begin your fall program. That may be why eligibility review has not started.

Got it, but in our application they dont asked about this course, we just sent the LOA of the college and a bunch of form, but nothing about this required course.

Do you think we should send a webform?

Right but if you are eligible to apply inland then you need to show that you are taking a pre-requisite course. If not, it is processed outland.

Got it!

Since outside canada application processing time is 7 weeks, and I`m entering in the 8th week, what you suggest to we do? Just wait?

Update your file with your completed course to say that you have the prerequisite to enter the program. IRCC may not be processing until it is received.

@Naturgrl I sent the document through the web form, they responded saying that the documents were received attached to my file, but after that I didn't have any further updates, eligibility has not started yet, I applied on June 14th, I found out that my application is being processed by Edmonton Office, do you have any ideas what we can do to try and figure out why our processing is taking so long?

I noticed that the date on my biometrics changed, it used to show June 15th but now it is showing June 16th, maybe this means they started looking at my file?

Do you guys think is the time to get a lawyer? We are waiting for more than 12 weeks :/
Lawyer for what. The issue is that IRCC most likely not processing your permit until you had finished your course. Assume you have sent all those documents to say that you are eligible to start the program. Also SOWP has different processing times and may be processed from home country.

The 12 weeks are just estimated averages many wait for much longer. You applied quite late compared to most others for the fall semester. You will be still be considered average processing times so nothing anyone one can do but be patient unless there is some problem with the processing. Have you spoken to the school about deferral.
