Study Permit rejected due to Regulation 179. PLEASE HELP & ADVICE!

I am an 17 year old Indian national having permanent residence in Kuwait for the past 12 years. I applied for a Study Permit and two multiple entry visas for my parents. I sent it on May 25 and it was rejected and sent to me today. This is what they said:

"You have not satisfied me that you meet the requirements of Regulation 179; that you would leave Canada at the end of the temporary period if you were authorized to stay. In reaching this decision I considered your ties to your country of residence/citizenship balanced against factors which might motivate you to stay in Canada".



I don't understand :'(. It's not like I want to be an illegal. I genuinely want to study. I have relatives (who are permanent residents residing there for many years) who I will be living with and not in a hostel. I have shown bank statements and salary certificates from both my parents. I have shown ticket bookings.
My parents Multiple Entry Visa has been rejected too. And they're only coming to drop me off.

Do I need to show more funds? Should I ask my relative/Uncle in Canada to send me a legal paper saying that he will support me?


PLEASE ADVICE!
I have to send another application, but please advice me on what I have to do to make sure that IT DOESN'T GET REJECTED, this time. :-[

Its really sad that you got refusal. In the reply of CHC its crystal clear that embassy was not convinced that you would return to your home country. So you need to take care of this point. Funds are not a point also legal papers from relative wont help much.

I am Zain, 18 just completed my grade 12th living here in Kuwait. I applied for my study permit on June 3rd. Did not get any response yet. The difference btw your application and mine is just that I have applied for only my visa and not my parents. At first even i was thinking of applying for my parents so that they would see me off. But then something striked me and got a feeling my visa might get regected as this just makes it possible for them to understand that I am planning to live in Canada for good.

I also am not planning to stay at any hostel or hotel. Ill be there with my couzins for a few months and then shift to somewhere else.

Can you let me know if you had mentioned in your application that you will be visiting any relatives?

Ill also tell you that there is a difference btw the supplementary form we get now and the supplementary forms we used to get a few months back.

I hope everything goes well for me and you both. Which college will you be attending there? will keep you posted.

Hey man! I think that the problem was that u wanted to get there with ur parents. That was a mistake i suppose, cause a consulate officer saw that u r going to stay in your relative's place + u r taking ur family with u in there... Don't apply for visas for ur parents next time... plus u have to convince officers that u r not going to stay with ur relatives after ur education ends... so u gotta convince them that ur parents await for u to come back, etc. I'm sorry ur visa was rejected... i had mine rejected too... i know how it feels. what documents you submitted with you application i mean is there some supporting documents which tell that you will come back to ur home land????????

Well I did send some documents about my parents like an official letter from the company stating that my dad would work there for several more years and my mom is a housewife so I mentioned that on my application too.

I also included a letter from my dad issued at his office stating that he would be responsible for my financial stuffs.

Other than that I included bank statements, all the application forms, PCC, acceptance letter, my passport. I guess thats all.

Hoping for the best. Its been around 20 days I have send my application and no response yet. Expecting this month end or atleast by august mid.

you must attach some property documents that is named to your parents so CHC may be satisfied that you are gona get some property inheritance which will motivate you to come back to your country and write a covering letter that wil show your goals, your study plans and your scope of your education which will help you to find a excellent carrier in india,some words about the course what is difference between the india education and canaday system like u can write that in india same course is offered but its based on theory basis, but in canada its more practical and u will get the chance to study across different national which will give u more international skills,,,,,,,,,,,,,

well if you already submitted your application then wait for the response,,,,,,,,well best of luck

well if u at job u can attach some company leave letter and if u in your home land u can attach some property documents but
you in kuwait and a student tooo so no idea what document will support ur case
so you must talk to an immigration consultant

well i do not know definitely what should be documents in muscat to help you out
well for uk visa is quiet easy you can take a chance for uk ....for further details are available at uk embassy web

ye you should show property documents and i hope it will support your case pretty well also make an affidavit for them,
mention all this in your cover letter to visa officer that you have a chance to get all this inheritance,, better to consult with an immigration agent because i am not an immigration expert just telling you the information that i have
