I CANT REALLY UNDERSTAND, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT I AM GETTING REFUSED STUDY PERMIT
ITS SO DEVASTATING COS THE PROGRAMME IS VERY ESSENTIAL TO MY SECURING THE KIND OF JOB THAT I WANT FOR MY SELF
Based on a careful review of the information contained in your application and all of the documentation which you have provided in support of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulations. I am therefore refusing your application.
Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulations for the reasons explained below. I am therefore refusing your application.
Pursuant to Section 219 and 220 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, I am not satisfied that you:

1. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue
2. You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
a. your travel history
b. your immigration status
c. purpose of visit

i. I submitted an account with N84, 373,212.84 (NGN) (Eighty four million, three hundred and seventy three thousand, two hundred and twelve naira and Eighty four kobo) which totals over 200,000.00 Canadian Dollars.
ii. I have traveled to and from UK for 4 consecutive times since 2011 and even had the page attached
iii. I am still on a valid UK visa, I have previously studied in the UK, after which I returned to my home country even before the expiration
iv. I attached an acceptance letter from the University that offered me admission to study in a school in Canada
What do you think I have done wrongly?
I am even ready to pay the fees but the school insist that I get s study permit before paying. I need this course, there are lots to gain with the course being done and after which i will be back in my country.
Advice me please!

Hi Lindsyjo,

Sorry to hear abut that. I've also applied to London CHC as well with no response from 25th of April, which is making me very worried. Can you please tell me when did you apply and which program did you apply to?

Your major problem is that you are applying to London and are not normally resident in their processing area, so don't have an attachment to the UK>

Mate, not so, I have finished my studies in the UK since last year, I am currently on a spousal visa in the UK and resident there at the time of making the application.

Applying from outside instead of home country is not a good idea.
Another problem is that your previous degree was Law but you have applied for HR course. Course mismatched.

My brother, law and HR has alot to do together; Companies this day dont employ lawyers without atleast, a certificate in HRM as the legal and HR department are now being fused as a way to cutting Company running cost.

hi,

you can refer to the link for the SOP pointers

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t150690.0.html

also i guess showing strong home ties is also an important aspect, as shared by the other members, i am nt sure if you can but try and apply frm ur home country, write a strong SOP and apply again..dnt lose hope..all the best :)
