Study permit processing for ever

Hey guys.. I'm confused here.. i applied for a study permit since june.. 2021 and the school session resumed September, 2021.. Till now, I haven't heard from CIC again..

Is there anything i didn't do right? Note: I have deffered my admission to September 2022...
