Study Permit - Non SPP category

Hi,

I filed my visa through VFS hyderabad on June 4th under non SPP category. Any idea of how much time will it take for an update. ?

I have been tracking the application from the very next day of filing. I filed it through VFS hyderabad and it is under Bangalore embassy

Hi frnds I'm interested study in Canada I had appear Ielts as well but unfortunately I didn't get score in Ielts but their is one college in non spp giving admission on my score.could u plz tell me if I try on that college how much chances of visa??should I try on it or not plz help me out plz thanking u in advanced

Hey dear...one of my friend applied for second time in non spp from Ahmedabad... His file was in Bangalore office.... He got his passport and visa in just 10 days....he has applied on 12 June and got visa on 22 June
.. I have also applied in spp category on 22 June...file is user process in Bangalore office

He also do not have any bank loan...generally bank loan is required for non spp....so all is happening.....can't say

I really dont know. It's been 20 days and i still dint get any update till date.. Tensed to the core.. :'(

I do not think a bank loan is compulsory for non SPP category... I am going to queen's univ for my masters in Civil eng. (NON SPP CATEGORY), and I id not opt for any bank loan.....

ok..i do not know much about SPP category though..but i am going to queens for my masters(structural engineering)...i guess its not under SPP category,,else i would have known...i did not opt for any bank loan.....I only produced my father's bank statements... i applied online for my visa on 12th june..and they requested for my passport on 16th june.... My passport is now at the delhi office... i willl be getting it back by the end of this week... so things have been working out for me without a bank loan under non SPP category...... (i hope so)... and no where it is written that a bank loan is a compulsory for non spp category......if I can support myself why would I even go for a bank loan...and burden myself with the interest rates...

Could you please explain why you think its necessary.. or is there any consultant who said you so?? I am all confused(and a lil tensed now)..after reading your post......

Yeah.. My consultant told me .. But i think you applied for general (university ) category and i dont know whether bank loan is required or not. I am pretty sure that non spp should have bank loan.. Anyway they took your passport bro.. that means you are good to go..

But there are some case I have seen in this forum and my friend who got their visa in general category without bank loan...

I am going to Queen's University...which category is that??? I have not opted for any bank loan..nor any GIC...nothing...just uploaded minimal documents and my visa got procesed withinh 4 days..they asked for my passport.... hoping to get back by tomorrow...

I am all confused with these classifications...
