I came to Canada to study a Graduate certificate in biotech, which is a 4 months long program. I applied for a CAQ and a Study permit, even though I didn`t need them, because I want to keep studying a master in biotech after this short program (I stated that in the explanation letter that I uploaded with my application). The problem is that the certificate ends in december and the master only has september intake. Would it be a problem to be here from january to august without studying? Should I change my status to visitor? or Should I take another program from january to may or august? What`s the best option for me? Please help me; I don`t know what to do
