Hi Guys,

I am trying to pursue Masters scholarship in Canada, i am from Egypt, Married, Staying with my husband in Qatar n working there too. my problem is that i am afraid of getting a refusal on my study permit :'( due to the following reasons:
1- I am Egyptian and living in Qatar however, I have 4.5 years of experience in Egypt
2- I don't have assets in Qatar of family there however, I have a bank account and job there
3- I don't have property in Egypt but my Husband has an apartment
4- I don't have a job in Egypt.

I am thinking about two options:
1- Applying from Egypt "I have banking account, my mother and siblings live in Egypt ,my father is dead and i am the one who funds my mother ,so i have to get back there knowing that my mother is married but her husband doesn't fund her living at all and my husband has a property there"
2- Applying from Qatar " i have a bank account and job" but there is no proof that I am going to get back there.

I don't know what should i do to prove that i will leave Canada after finishing my study, please help.

If I was your Visa Officer, I would read that you moved to Qatar for a better job and salary. So you may also overstay in Canada for the same reasons. Hence, you should show stronger ties to your home country.
In your SOP, you could say that you need to support your mother and siblings.
You can show strong ties to your husbands family and their property, which will require you to come back.
Show any investments, Savings, etc... you have - that will lead you back home.
Most important of all, you need to show how your studies shall improve your job prospects back home or maybe in Qatar(as a weaker case). I have seen that this is the single largest reason for rejection of study permits. Also write about what your long term goals are after you come back from Canada, to prove to the Visa Officer, that you have a strong intent of coming back.
Be confident and apply. Good luck.
