Study permit - Funds not mature

Hi guys!

I will be applying for a study permit soon. The problem is that my dad (who will be sponsoring me) hasn't had the required amount of funds in his bank account for the last couple of months. His funds are locked up in investments and he will be able to transfer them over to his current bank account right before I apply for the study permit. Since we need to show a bank statement of at least four months, this could raise a red flag. I would really appreciate any advice on how to tackle this. The money does belong to us. How do we prove to the embassy that we didn't borrow it from someone?

Thanks.

If you can prove that he has investments/companies with official papers like Company Register file, apply with it ALONG with your bank statements.

Personally I have applied 3 times for CAQ and 1 time for Study Permit and one time for study permit extension without having a good amount in the bank for the last 4 months and I got accepted. But there was good in and out goings transactions nearly everyday.
