Study Permit for Child (Ontario Provincial Nominee & Open Work Permit)

Hi,

I am Ontario Provincial Nominee and I have got letter of support for Open Work Permit too.

While applying for Open Work Permit, I am applying for Study Permit for my child with age > 6 years. While filling Study Permit application (IMM1294E), following are must to be filled:

1. Details of study in Canada
2. Employment (Give details of your employment for the past 10 years ..)

for 1, I have given information like 'appropriate school for child's age' for name of school and selecting Ontario

but for 2, what information needs to be filled??? How come a child can be employed? I think, check on age is missing while making the employment info mandatory

Any suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put none or N/A. It's not uncommon for high school or university student to have weekend jobs. That's why it's included. CIC will understand a small child hasn't worked!

Can I just ask you under which category did you apply for Ontario PNP nomination and how long did it take for them to process your case?
I need to apply under Masters Graduate stream without a job offer in September 2013 but I am worried that they will exceed their prescribed timeline of 90 days or the quota of 1000 will already be filled up by then.

Hello there, have also queries about d study permit...do we really have to provide the school? Since am applying outside canada and dont have ay information w/c school for my kids. Did VO accepted your application by putting NA in some fields of your application? Thanks
