But some students apply for the visa without getting paying the fee and get the visa. How is that possible? More I have made an admission deposit of 500 CAD to the univeristy. Can it substitute the proof of payment of tuition fee in my case..?
In most cases, students DO NOT pay the fee in advance. From what I have read, this requirement is specific to some Indian program. If you go to the CIC page, it will tell you exactly what kind of documents you need to provide. You got in to UBC, I am hoping you are resourceful enough to figure this out. In most cases, you will need to provide financial documents from your sponsor (bank statement, proof of income/business etc.). Again, refer to the CIC checklist for your country. It will have a list of all the documents you need to submit.
