Study Permit for CANADA from USA for Indian citizen

Hi All,

I am currently a student in the USA and study Master and would like to move Canada and finish my master there.

I have below question.

- Is it possible to get Study permit for CANADA while a student in the USA,
- how much probability to get a study permit?
- Do I need to show Bank loan and GIC both or one is fine ??
- Does anybody move from the USA to Canada on study permit??

It is quite uncommon to start a masters at one school and transfer to another. It would be much easier to get a visa from India because you have to show strong ties to your home country.

Can't answer many of them given limited profile. Also just an opinion. You need to show financial documents showing adequate funds in order to get approval. The biggest issue will remain the inability to show that you have strong ties to your home country and will return after your education. Why do you want to switch schools in the middle of a masters program? You will find it very difficult or impossible to switch schools mid-masters unless your supervising professor is also changing schools.
