I have a B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engg. and 4+ years of experiences as a Software QA.
Now I want to settle in Canada and continue my career in software industries, for that I looked for student visa through a MS course in Computer science. Unfortunately all of the university want CSE courses as a pre requirement and a min CGPA (2.75 to 3.0) which I don't have (my cgpa is 2.656).
Also I prefer a 1 year course instead of 2 years.
So, I looked for diploma. I have come to know that VO often reject student visa for diploma.
Now I want to know:
1. How are my chances to get the study permit (student visa) in my case to obtain 1 year diploma?
2. What should I focus on the SOP? FYI, I have my express entry account already, so will not a VO already aware about my intention that I want to settle in Canada?
3. What should I answer if a VO ask me whether I have any plan to settle in Canada (I mean, Canada are now welcoming immigrants are't they?)?
4. Does anyone have any idea, if there is any 1 year MS courses (in computer science) in Canada?
