Study permit extention

After studying my 12th Grade in Secondary School in Toronto, l ve been accepted by York Uni. I applied for study permit again. I got a letter i have been given temporary residency permit in which not for study or work. It stated Document to Travel Canada or re-ent.
Permit SP EXT and eTA till 2020/07/24.
What does it mean? SP EXT mean Study Permit extention which i have had for one year ? Can i study with this permission at Uni?

Since you already had a study permit you needed to apply for an extension not a new one. You received is a study permit extension until 2020/07/24 so you can study until then. Yes this works for university. The ETA is to enter Canada.

Hi,

My partner and I applied on July 16th (also for a student and work permit extension) and are still waiting for an extension. Do you not find it odd that the processing times on the CIC website say that the permits should be extended in a much shorter time? It has definitely been longer for all of us. I am getting worried ...
