Study Permit Extension

Hello,

One of my friend's study permit will expired on 31 December 2019 and still he doesn't get the new study permit and he wants to go india for his marriage so, can he re - enter in canada while he's application is still in immigration office and he doesn't have stamping on passport.

Can you please help on this matter......

He needs a TRV to return to Canada.

Study permit is not stamped in passport.

TRV is in passport, if this is expired he will not be allowed to get on plane to Canada without a new one.

TRV can only be applied for after the study permit extension is granted, it is a separate process.
