Hi all
Actually I am in probation from my school and as per their rules they give extension for just one semester . As I asked for the extension letter from my school, they didn’t mention anything that I am on probation but on the space where it’s written expected time to finish study they wrote April 2019 and my permit is expiring on March 30 2019. I am just curious to know for what time will cic extend my study permit . Will it be just until April or some more months . Coz college told once you get done with this semester you can come with your grades and we can give extension for more longer time
Can I have some good suggestions .
Thank you

You have two options:
1. You apply for an extension based on the letter from your school and you might get an extension until May or June(depends on VO, some students get an extra month or two as the VO thinks you would need more time to obtain PGWP or leave Canada).
2. You prepare a very detailed layout of your program completion plan mentioning what courses you will do in which semester. You should also attach the course guide/graduation requirements for your program with a current transcript. Based on this, you request an extension till the actual time you would need to graduate. You would also want to attach a LOE stating your probation and any reasons for it while mentioning what your University/college has mentioned. Make sure to attach the extension letter from your school.

It's hard to say what will happen but option 2 is worth a shot as worst case, they will still give you an extension based on the letter from your school till April.
