Study Permit Extension.

Hello!

I'm a Computer Science student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, almost getting done with the first year and a half of my degree .My study permit expires on July 17, 2017 and I was wondering if I could take the summer of 2017 as a scheduled break which would allow me to work full time, however, I realised that I need a letter of enrolment to renew my permit and I won't be able to have that since I won't take any courses in the summer, at that point what am I supposed to do? Enrol in full time classes for the Spring semester too?

Sorry I edited this too much, I clearly understand the conditions of working off campus,however, one thing I can't get in mind is would it be allowable if I take the summer as a part time student and work full time while renewing my study permit? The main and primary issue is I don't have much course options to do in the summer for my CS degree as well as I would like to save up for the Fall. Thanks in advance!

1. You can't take summer break as per your choice and timing. It must be according to what school specify.
2. If you are applying for an extension during your 'scheduled' breaks, its your school responsibility to provide you a letter of enrollment.
3. You must remain a full time student. You can be a part time student only in the last semester when you do not have enough courses to be full time.
