Study permit extension

Hi:
I am holding a valid study permit and VISA and would like ask a question about extending this study permit.

I am a citizen of Bangladesh and obtained study permit and Visa to pursue my M.Sc. degree in Canada from January 2010. After one an half year, I applied for an extension of my study permit online, and received the renewed study permit which is valid till August 31,2012. Later on, I also applied for TRV after my previous VISA expired on June 30,2011 to Buffalo,NY . Then I received multi-entry VISA (Visitor-V1) valid till December 31, 2013.

Now after meeting all the requirements for My M.Sc. degree at Memorial, I applied for PhD program in few Canadian universities and came back to Bangladesh. Then I received PhD offer starting from September 01, 2012. Now my question is: since I have valid study permit till August 2012 and TRV till December 2013, am I required to apply for study permit extension from Bangladesh, or the existing permit might be sufficient enough for now, and then I can apply for an extension from within Canada if I reach at the end of July 2012.

1. You are safe for now. Your chances are good if you apply at CPC-Vegreville, Alberta. You should apply for an extension by 30th July, 2012.
