Study Permit Extension Processing Times

Hi everyone,

I applied for a study permit extension at the start of August, IRCC says processing times are 57 days but it has been 120 days and I still haven't received any update. They haven't even started reviewing eligibility.

It is a huge problem sine I am about to graduate and apply for PGWP but if I don't receive the extension before then I won't be able to work while waiting for PGWP.

Any one received a SP extension recently? how long did it take?

I wasn't given +90 days on my study permit. So it's ending on Dec 31, 2021 while it should have been till April 30, 2022. I've applied for an extension but no update yet. Has anyone got an extension yet? I applied on Nov 12th.

You can always apply for PGWP even if you don't get a response on the extension, right?
