study permit extension or work permit

Right now i applied for my study permit extension and its expiring at the end of March and my course is getting over by April end.
Meanwhile I got a job offer from a company and they want me to join them immediately after April.
But due to long processing time I will be getting my study permit extension only in July and legally cant go for any job until I receive my study permit extension.
Is it possible to cancel my study permit extension and apply for work permit ? I did a course previously in Canada and I am doing my second course right now.
or should I wait till I get my study permit extension

The employer needs an LMIA in order for you to apply for a work permit.

I guess my employer doesn't have LMIA. Also most of the job vacancies will be filled by July so the probability of getting the job for me is really low
I don't want to sit idle in my home for three months without doing any job.
I need to manage my expenses as well. How do I request IRCC for faster STE processing?

You can’t ask for faster processing. It’s unfortunate you should have applied for the extension earlier like at the beginning of the semester.

There is no faster processing. You don't get to jump the line ahead of everyone else. As said above, you should have applied for the extension much sooner. The posted processing times have been quite long for some time now.
