Hi, please any insight welcomed
My husband (Study Permit) and I (Open Work Permit) are in Canada.
His college made a mistake on his enrolment letter. They somehow forgot that students are required to take one semester off.
Because of that, our visas expired at the end of July even though his classes ended at the end of September.
We applied for a Study Permit Extension before visas expiring, according to IRCC estimated processing time. So we are in maintained status now.
Thing is, my husband already graduated, his college issued his graduation status, but still no answer from IRCC. They are well overdue.
Does anybody have any guess whether they can still accept our extension?
We want to apply for PGWP, but since our visas already expired, I am afraid I will not be able to keep on working (NOC B) if IRCC rejects our extension before PGWP is approved
Thanks
