Study permit extension delay

I applied for study permit extension on June 1 including open work and visit extension for my wife and son. Our permits expire on 30 of this month and no final decision yet. Please I need help on what to do.

If you applied before it expired it means you are on implied sp status so there is no issue with it expiring.
You might consider giving them a call to check whats taking so long.

I called last month but I was told is still within the normal time since I included my wife and kid.
I emailed them just a week ago and I had the same reply. Just worried because my son has to go to kindergarten and they need it before he is admitted.

Extensions with spouse are delayed.
Might take 60-100+ days, seeing the recent trend of extensions along with spouse/family.

Extensions with no spouse/family were approved within 35 days 90% of them, I applied on July 3rd was approved on Aug 9
