Hi all,

I am an international student in the US and I also hold a multiple entry visitor visa to Canada. I recently applied for a study permit that was refused, I followed up immediately and applied for another one with all the additional information that they required in my initial application.

2nd Permit Application Date : 29th January 2017.

Since I've finished my studies in the US, I have to depart by the 16th of Feb 2017.

Is there any way I can request for an expedited decision or enter Canada with my visitor visa and wait for the study permit decision??

There is no expedited processing available.

Yes - you can enter Canada as a visitor if your TRV is valid. Make sure you have a return flight and make sure it doesn't look like you're planning on coming to Canada to live here - otherwise you may be refused entry.
