Study permit delay

I applied for Canada study permit 44 days back still I didn't receive any information from Canada high commission.I checked my application status I passed the medical exam but the eligibility requirements are not yet reviewed.Can I know the reason ? Please help me out

Hello dears
I have applied to study canadian visa ,its been 44 days from the day of biometric fingerprint and still didn't have any news about my visa.

I am from iraq and the process time as i know is 7 weeks , does delaying visa answer mean there will be rejection??
