I applied for my Visa at the beginning of may and did my biometrics soon after. On the 30th July I received a letter saying my biometrics were valid and my portal updated to say Final Decision: 30th July 2024
Online it said it should take 8 weeks to process (now down to 7) however, I still haven’t been told if I have been approved or rejected
I am due to start studying in 8 days, flying out in 7, and I haven’t had any communication from IRCC, even after emailing, ringing and submitting the web form.
Is this usual? Is anyone else having this problem?
I am studying as an exchange student so if I defer it counts as a ‘fail’ for the year, so I am hesitant to do that.
