Read an article on National Post which said IRCC has already issued over 200k study permits this year and is forecasted to exceed the cap at this rate. What happens when the cap is reached? Would they actually stop accepting applications?
There's no publicly shared information or instructions published in operation manual, etc on how govt plans on implementing the cap, nothing I could found.
