Study Permit Approved, what's next?

Hi everyone,

My study permit extension was just approved as per the CIC update. Do I have to exit the country and come back again to renew my visa before my current one expires? Or can I continue to stay in Canada until the next time I exit (after the current one expires) and re-enter the country? Or...is there another way to renew my visa?

U need not to exit the country...just renew it wen it expires by applying online

You don't need to exit..when did u applied for extension?how many days it took to get the final decision..

I applied a month ago and just got the approval today online, but didn't not receive the package yet in the mail. My current study permit expires at the end of this month. I noticed that the permit is stapled onto my passport, so wouldn't I need to go through customs again to get another one?

you should get a new study permit in the mail then you can attach it to your passport as per the old one
