Hello everyone, I am going to apply for my study permit soon. Just got acceptance letter from my college, I needed help regarding the application process and I was hoping someone could clear up a few things for me.
1. Should I apply by myself or should I hire a representative? Is it safe to do it by myself?
2. While going through the online application tool I came across a few things that confused me. I have a sister in Toronto(where my college is as well) and the tool had a question asking if I have a family member in Canada who has status. My sister is a PR, but the problem is when I look up family member in the term glossary it says that family members are close relatives like spouse, common law partner, dependent children and children of dependent children. Do I say yes or no? Just want to confirm.
3. There is another question regarding whether or not i am accompanying a family member in/to Canada, again does this include my sister?(there was no option for glossary on this question.)
4. About the Proof of Finance document, I will be showing my dad's Bank Statement(He's my sponsor) but it says that I have to show the statements for the past 4 months. The problem is, my dad will put all the required money in the account in a few days, which means in the past few months his account didn't have the amount that i needed. Will this be a problem?
5. On the topic of Bank statements should I put the money in my own account or use my dad's?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I also submitted my application on 11 march.
1. You have consult IDP education in your city, they offer free services and advices.
2. I marked NO for Family memeber even though I have two siblings PR there.
3. As your sister is already there no need to check accompaning for her.
4,5. consult idp
