I have to fill out an application for a study permit and there is also a column where I have to fill out "funds available for my stay:"

I don't know what they mean by that. The tuition 56000CAD is payed by my parents, so I don't have a scholarship. Room is also payed by them (plus living expense).

What amount should I write in "funds available for my stay:"? What do they even mean by that?
If my tuition is 56000CAD for the whole time, is it ok if I write maybe 80000CAD in "funds available for my stay:"? I have no clue what they want.

Thank you :(

Well, just write the amount of money you are willing to show. I currently wrote 88,000 CAD cause that's what my parents showed me. By "show" they gave me a paper stating on how much money they got in their current account, signed by the authorized personnel.

Hope this will help. Can't guarantee anything cause I also in the process of applying visa as well.

Anyway, good luck and God bless.
