Study permit amendment and pgwp - awating wp ext

International student- 2year masters program
I originaly had a SP that allows me to work with all the conditions as per IRCC and then applied for extension since i needed one to complete studying during my final sem. The Extended SP unfortunately didn't include the same conditions that allows me to work. But according to ircc i can be part time student in my final semester so i should have had the working conditions added to the current SP. My advisor and ircc agent suggested me to apply for the amendment and then apply for pgwp. So i applied for the amendment waited for 1-2 week, then applied for pgwp.
I recently got the amended SP refusal letter becasue my course is completed and i should try to reapply to cpc edmonton . and i am still waiting for wp-ext (its been 10days since application).
According to ircc , we can work after applying for pgwp if we maintained full time status except for final semeter, masters from DLI, and i satify these conditions and according to this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/work-off-campus.html#off-campus => i am eligible to work without work permit and shd apply for a amendment so, how i proceed now and am i allowed to work while waiting for my pgwp?

So my study permit didnt have the condition that allows me to work while studying and i applied to get my amendments changed because i am eligible for to work on/off campus , after few days i got my final grades and i got a refusal letter that they cant change the conditions since my study program is complete(but i need a amended sp to be able to work since its connected to my SIN). I also applied for pgwp but havent received the WP-EXT yet.. its been 10 days already

The SP refusal letter states i shd try to reapply to cpc edmonton but i dont know how long that takes & my current SP is only valid till march 2025. So now i cant seek employement until i get either the SP or wp-ext because my sin needs renewal. Has anyone gone through? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You will not get a WP-ext if you were not allowed to work as a student. You don’t need and will not be approved for a SP because your studies are over and you have applied for PGWP. Chance status to visitor and wait for PGWP approval. If you had SIN then did you ever work while on study permit?

I don't think OP needs to apply for visitor status. They should be able to work if their study permits was valid on the day PGWP application was made. WP-EXT letter is not required. Not having a valid SIN, changes everything though.
