I am a faculty member in private university and looking to get study leave letter from my university. Just want to know, what should be format/content of that letter. And will that letter be useful in showing ties to country
Contact the Human Resource department of your university. If they offer study leaves as per policy, then they must have a specific format with them which they will fill up after your formal request. That is because a letter of this kind usually requires that the applicant has taken his Line Manager/ Incharge or the Head of Department into confidence and He/ She is willing to grant the applicant study leave for the period required.
Yeah it is, but normally many Organisations only grant a study leave by signing a formal Service Bond with the applicant stating that he has to come back and work for xyz years once he completes his studies.
