Does study gap of 4 years will be a hurdle to get admission in Canadian University for M.Eng in ECE. However, in that 4 years, one have acquired relevant work experience.

Do you mean you were on study permit and took 4 gap years as you didn't attend a DLI?
I was not on any study permit but was on professional job which was relevant to my technical field in which I have plan to pursue my Masters.
