Just Go thru 1-10 pages of this forum and you will find good info about your query.

When reading the Discover Canada, do ensure you learn the snippets on the sides (with pictures), questions can come from those too.

Read the book a few times (or online PDF, listen to the audio book), including the captions to the pictures. Do practice tests online such as Vsoul (google it). If you can consistently get high scores on Vsoul and you've read the book a couple of times and can read English (or French if you prefer) to even a basic level, you will be fine. The online tests were much harder than the real test.
In my opinion, the test is 90% about double checking that you can speak and understand English, as the questions are incredibly easy. Even if you don't know the answer to most of the questions, one answer will look plausible and the other three will be ridiculous so you can probably get most of them right by ruling out the silly answers.
