And job after study....??

As I heard that there is no difference between employment of master degree student and diploma or advance diploma student......it only depends on their capabilities and knowledge.
Is it true...??

I am confused between doing MS in electrical and computer engineering and diploma in Power engineering technology.
Someone advised me that if you want to settle Down and do part time job with study then go for diploma and if you want to do study only then go for MS...
I want to settle down

(Everything depends upon your skill sets and the stuff you know, nothing can provide you a job even a Phd can't .)

(Yes, this is somewhat true, but overall pay scales are higher than a diploma student. As some of the domestic students who are doing jobs after completing their bachelors, they tend to opt for masters only for getting growth in their professional career. But if you are getting admission in masters (which is not that easy), then i would recommend you to choose masters over any other course, because degree is always better than a diploma for building you career.)

(Who told you this if you want to settle down, go for diploma as you can do part time jobs with that, its all crap. You know, while doing masters, you can also go for teaching assistant job, moreover as a research assistant in a particular field. These two jobs will not only provide you good Canadian experience but also some good amount money to take care of your daily needs. You can also do part time jobs like working at a store as cashier or any other thing, so there are various other things you can do.)

(Nothing is easy in the world my friend, no one spoon feeds you here, it is not like India where colleges tend to organize campus placements for us. Here in Canada, we have to find a job on our own, again i will repeat the same thing, if you have necessary skill sets for a job then its just the matter of cracking the interview. Finally, for settling down after doing masters, Ontario province provides you opportunity of PNP only for masters and Phd students.)

What were u doing two years after 12th ?
Even 6 backlogs would be a issue for masters admission, but u can still give a try.

as i read on this forum, 6 backlogs are not a issue and after 12th, i have dropped for some reason which i can't explain to anyone.
can you tell me what is the number of study hours per week in University of Ottawa?
