Students going for 1 year course

I want to know that how many students are going for only 1 course

Can we extend our stay?or we will have to come back to our respective country.

If I will take another course?will chc approved my student permit for another 1 year or not.

I m going into SIAST for 1 year course.

1 year course (2 semesters) means 8 months OR study of 7.5 months of study. Will we get Post Grad Work Permit with this?

yes only 1 year, unless u opt for 2yr course or do another 2 semester/ 1yr course u can get 3yr work permit ;D

Its always safe to apply for a two years program so that you get three years work permit. And, you have enough time to decide on your application to PR, whether you would file a PNP one or CEC. But, with one year program, you do not get time to work on your PR route and at times creates a panic situation.

Incorrect to suggest that you don't get time with 1 year of PGWP. If you are PNP nominated with 1 year of PGWP, you will get a 'work permit support letter' which you can use for 'bridging open work permit'.

Saransh from Delhi. I am a graduate in Commerce from University of Delhi with 53% and now I am pursuing CFA (International), going for Level 1 in December 14.
As I want to major in Fiance, therefore, I am planning to go for 1 year Post-Graduate Certificate (Fall 2015) in Financial Planning from one of the good coleges in Ontario. As my graduation percentage is 53%, I think I won't be able to take admission into any of the Universities there.

Please let me know if there are any universities in which I would be able to take admission which accept 53% and if not, kindly tell me about the worth of entering into Financial Planning Program and best colleges for doing this program. I am considering GBC, Humber, Seneca, Sheridan, and Centennial.
