Salam/Hi,

Im planning to file my case in the 1st week of june with following documents.

Check List
Application Form
Family Information
Admission Letter
Fee Receipt
Bank Statment from my sponser (My dad is sponsering me)
Bank Letter
Sponser Letters
Job letter from my employeer
A letter stating tier to my family and country
Other certificates(birth, nika nama etc)

One thing i would like to know regarding funds mentioned in admission letter:

Total Tuition Fee for the whole course having 2 years duration:23100CAD

Living Expences for 1 year:15000CAD

Other Charges:3000CAD
Total: Some 41K CAD

Fee paid:6120CAD

So, here im providing bank statment showing 48K CAD, will it work with my application or i still need to increase it.

Kindly acknowledge with positive points.

Why marriage certificate? Are you married ? If yes, you have just nailed your home tie issues. You don't need a separate letter proving your home ties to your family. Prepare a nice study plan and focus on your future career goals and how studies in cad will help you. First year tuition fee+first year living expense+ both airfare. Just do the math. I think 48k will be enough funds. why birth certificate? You don't need this.

@ nazia: It is because we have to prove that we are born on this beautiful planet for a purpose ;)

@ se7en,
On a serious note, birth certificate is not required.

Also, it helps if you provide salary slips of past 4 to 6 months along with the letter from a employer. CIC matches the amount in your salary slip, to the amount getting in your bank account every month so be careful if your docs are not original (just a caution).

I somewhat agree with Nazia on SOP. Since you are already married, you don't need to specify the reason of home ties. However, a one page (or less) long SOP stating why you want to pursue this course, and that too in Canada is always useful.

41 K CAD is more than enough. You just need to show (1 year tuition fees + 1 year living expense + Airfare) which would be 11550 +15000 + 2000= 28,550 CAD. You have more than enough funds and documents. The funds should be in the bank account for 4 months.

Please go ahead and I wish you best of luck for your application. Do post back on this thread once you receive your visa.

Thank you Nazia and GS .....
I am providing nikah nama because i heard VO are very curious about applicant's home ties. So this document is just to support the section
"Martial Status" in application form.
2ndly, we have no pay slips system at our company, so what what should be the alternative for this?
SOP is a good point, i was not well aquaintted with that. I will include one with my application :)

Then Finance/HR dept in your company can provide a salary certificate. Normally they don't ask, but even if they do ask for the reason, you can tell them you are planning to take a car loan (or any other type of loan usually taken in Pakistan) and you have to show the income proof.

I know that lying is not good but if you tell them the original reason, and somehow your visa is rejected (God forbid) then you will find yourself in a tricky situation. The moment you tell them your intentions (or resign), their behavior will change no matter how many years and how many projects you might have completed there.

Corporate world is a bad world with no human values in the whole system. In the end, we are just resources (another number in the employee id) and resources are appreciated only till the time they can be used. Otherwise they become liability.

Also, you might be filing Income Tax returns, that is a very strong proof as well.
