HI All,

I have 4 years of work experience.
Education: Bachelors of Arts and also did one year course in hardware and networking. Currently working in IT with overall 3 years experience. Iam planning to study project management (Full Time-1 year) at Humber college

The total tuition fees is 5 lakh INR (Excluding stay and Travel). I have got education loan of 5 lakh INR.I will be staying at my relatives house in toronto which is located nearby Humber College. My relative has already agreed to provide me a letter stating that i will be staying with them. Apart from this i have arranged for 5 lakh INR which is now deposited in my account. My father is a driver and Mom is a Home maker. I also have property in my name. My Dad owns a lorry.

Kindly let me know if i have any chances of visa getting rejected?

Thanks all,

Lijesh

Hi Liju,

A couple of pointers for you.

1. Choose a course which is not offered in Indian Colleges / universities. ( You can change your course later if you wish)
2. Show strong ties to India by way of property, parents residing here etc.
3. Include an SOP.
4. I think the relatives are a bad idea. Any relative in Canada weakens your case. Lessens your chance of you coming back to India.
5. Take the whole loan and get the money for stay and travel along with the edu loan.

All the best !

HI vibez_well

Thanks for the info. Bank is ready to offer 4Lakh INR as loan. Is it possible if i mention iam staying with my friend instead of relative.

Thanks,

maybe its better to mention that u'll be staying with friends.

another question that I had - are you going thru the SPP route ? then this 4 lakh loan wudnt suffice right ? the loan has to be 80% of tuition +living exp.

SPP is one of the best ways to apply dude. less paperwork. its more straightforward.

HI vibez_well,

The tution fees is 5 lakh. I thought i will take 4 lakh loan and remaining amount will be borrowed by my relatives.

ok, so you are trying for the Visa not thru the SPP category right ? hmm, its ok if everything is in order.... you will have to show a lot of extra paper work (according to what i heard)

But SPP cases have better chance of being approved. choose carefully. go thru the india site of the canadian high commission.
