student visa with study gap

dear all ,

i had completed diploma in mechanical after 10th , currently having 4+ years of experience in industry .
now i want to pursue course in power engineering & technology in Canada.
have heard that study gap doesn't matter if you putting a strong reason in SOP . and if a valid reason is there will able to get visa .! :'(
any suggestions ?
please help.

I completed my graduation 10 yrs ago and got a study permit under SPP...but yes...u need to write a strong SOP...explain them how would ur chosen course add to ur existing profession..all the best!

also want to know that some of the agents telling that SOP requires in masters courses only !
will you please put focus on it ?
what are the factors should be considered in SOP ?
also i want to know that can i apply under SPP?
or have to apply under General as i have heard that its not recommended to apply under SPP with more than 2yrs of study gap.

sop requirement is defined by the college, not the consultant. You can apply under SPP if you are able to justify the gap with work experience, etc...
