Student Visa while waiting for Outland Sponsorship

Hi there,

Just a question about outland sponsorship application and student visa.
My spouse already has a visitor visa (TRV) and visited me couple of time before we married. We applied for spousal PR in Aug 2017, currently file is transferred to NDVO.

We are thinking if we can apply for student visa within canada once he arrives here (assuming PR is not processed by then). We are thinking to utilize the time while waiting for PR to upskill, that will help in our line of work.

I am not sure what your question is, are you asking if he is allowed to apply for a student visa while the PR app is already processing? If so, the answer is yes, he can apply for a student visa with no issues.
