Hello,
My young cousin a Nigerian citizen who applied for and was accepted to study in The Great Lakes College of Toronto was refused a Canadian student visa for the following reasons:
You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay because:-
1. That his sponsor, his father does not have sufficient funds in his account. (Parents' income and assets are insufficient to support the studies).
2. That the share certificates of his dad’s shares/stock look fake.
3. That they are not satisfied with his transcript (school result).
The irony is that all the documents (bank statements, share certificates, school result, police report etc) are all genuine and can be verified with the Nigerian Stock Market, Zenith bank, Nigerian police force, the school he attended and the WAEC board etc.
Please someone should advice me on how to go about appealing the refusal of the visa because the funds are available and we want the bright young lad to get a student visa and travel to Canada to start his school September this year.
God bless you as you reply.
