Hi I am planning to study French language starting next September in Quebec, I do not know for how long because that will depend on the assessment of my current French level.
Currently I hold a Tourist Visa and have also started the processing of the CAQ, however my classes will start next month and it seems that the Student Visa processing time will go beyond the start date of my classes.
Could I enter Canada with my Tourist Visa now and start my classes?
When my CAQ and Student Visa are approved shall I need to reenter the country? or could I make a change of status (Tourist to Student) while I am studying in Canada?
Thanks for your help.

You cannot start your course without a valid study permit and unlikely the institution will let you anyway, the only exception would be a course 6 months or less which I would assume is unlikely.

When I was in the university they told me, it isn't necessary a Student Visa that my Tourist Visa was enough to start my french class, but I insisted the university gave me an letter of acceptance for my tramit Student Visa, but now I realize the student Visa will go beyond the start date of my classes . For that I Ask : I Can enter to Canada with a Tourist Visa while my CAQ is processing?
I only apply for the CAQ not more that it, even I don,t apply to Student Visa because The first step is get CAQ in orden to continue with the Student Visa

I read in the page Cic.gc.ca " If you don't have a study permit you can apply for a study permit from inside Canada.

Please Help me! I am not Sure If Canada inmigration allow me the entrance with Tourist Visa while My CAQ is processing ,and If the university allows me start my class with Tourist Visa after myself told them I preferred Student Visa
