Student visa long delay!

Hey guys, I need urgent help on this! If anybody has experienced this please let me know!

I applied for my Canadian Student Visa on 12th of Feb 2016, but I haven't heard from the embassy till date! They haven't even asked for my medicals yet! Why is the long delay? I applied through VAC, whenever I track my application it says " Processed passport has been forwarded to Canada visa office Islamabad on 12/2/16. It's been more than 3 months. Does long delay usually means negative answer?

The first thing to do is to check if the time between when you submitted your application and now is within the processing time for your region.If yes then you can send a mail to the embassy pointing out that your application had exceeded the time specified

I submitted an online application for the Canadian Student Visa on 31st March 2016. At the time of submission the processing time read 6-8 weeks, then it changed to 10 weeks ,then to 11 weeks and now the processing time shows 14 weeks. I have tried to contact CIC but they say that the visa will be processed at the nearest Canadian Embassy, but there seems to be no way of contacting them.

its general, every application is slowly processed, u just be calm, i guess its becos of too much app with CIC

We can't tell you what the status of your application is. Have you tried sending a case specific inquiry to the visa office processing your application? Have you tried ordering your GCMS notes yet?

I applied on 13 April 2017 for september intake and when i track application still it shows under process at Chandigarh canada visa office . I am worried becoz its 4th month starting still there is no response by embassy
