Student Visa for Pilot training in Canada

I recently got admitted to Pacific professional center for pilot training.

My background:
Under graduation in Computer Science
IELTS score: 7.5

I am applying for a student visa under Non SDS program and my father and my sister(she has a PR in canada) will sponser it. Has anyone been under the same boat where someone's sibling with a PR has sponsered it. Do the officers reject it on that basis?

This will not result in an automatic refusal, however it can be more difficult to be approved if you have a sibling in Canada.

You will want to put together a strong application showing proof of ties to your home country and you'll also want make sure your choice of programs in Canada makes sense in light of your previous education and any work experience.

In the end, approval is still very possible.
