I would like to join for your Environmental monitoring course. Currently I am working in an oil sector company placed Abu Dhabi as an occupational health Nurse. My motivation is to pursue this diploma as a first step to migrate Canada. Kindly answer my questions regarding this. More over I am interested to work as an Occupational hygienist.
1. will CIC consider this course for Immigration credentials? I heard it should be minimum 2 yr course, shall I make up this 6 months with some other
short course integrated with this one?
2. Shall I get a spouse visa while Im in Canada on a student visa?
3. Is it possible for an International candidate to do co-op program?
4. Is there any stay back period available after the course?
5. I am Bachelor in BSc Chemistry (57%) and another BSc Nursing (63%) will it be competitive for me to enroll the program?
i will appreciate your assistance

I can only answer your questions pertaining directly to the EMPD program. Immigration and visa matters are under the jurisdiction of Canada Immigration. You can also get the desired information on websites like: Immi.Canada.migrationexpert.comThe EMPD program does not have a co-op component, but there is a 1 month work placement in the spring for which international students qualify.
I’m not sure what you mean by a “stay back period”. Your BSc degree in Chemistry would qualify you for the EMPD program.
