Hello friends,

I hope your day is going well. I'm posting a thread to ask for assistance on my situation- and thank you so much for reading this post!

I'm a third-year English major studying in a university. On April of 2017, I became paralyzed suddenly, and had to return to Korea immediately after finishing all of my exams and assignments (with some on extensions- completed in less than 1 month after I arrived in my home country). Right now, I am undergoing a medical treatment, and seems to improve; I will potentially return to Canada on August. However, I have so many concerns regarding my study permit, because I need to take an extension of the permit to complete the two years left in my program.

Firstly, with grades:
I have all B-, C, B-, B- W(withdrawn) in my first term of 2016, and C, F, D, B- and W (withdrawn).
So, about 2.3 GPA in total. I have D and F so this makes me worry so much.

Secondly, with the extension:

My student visa expires on September of 2018- so this September. I'm just worried that, after taking a year off, I would not be able to extend my visa, and thus, not being able to return for the rest of my life.

I would appreciate any advice or assistance! Thank you so much for your time.
