Hello everyone I just want to ask your student visa applications?

Mine was rejected last December. For the reason of insufficient funds and weak hometies.


I'm to relodge my application. I added funds now I have a total of 18,500 cad as pof and 40k cad from my sponsor and I'm planning not to include my husband in my application. I'm taking Masters in IBU.

Appreciate your feedback Do I have chance of approval.

Was funds the only reason for rejection. Who is your sponsor because you are married so should be showing your own funds or spouse’s funds. Also is that all the savings of your sponsor because that person is using all their savings for your schooling. Sponsor has to support himself and spouse and children? If so, sponsor needs a lot more money.

Also IBU is a garbage school. Private and only for international students in an office building.

So husband is not planning on ever coming.

Who is your sponsor?

Change to a better school before reapplying. IBU is a private college with an absolutely terrible reputation.

Still unlikely to be enough funds especially if also including your spouse. As everyone has pointed out you are also applying to a degree mill which doesn’t help your application.

So what did you show for ties to return? How did you justify costs at a private university that no Canadians attend (just an international school) with higher pay when you return. IBU is a garbage school in an office building. Go to public DLI like York.

Your aunt really is not even an immediate or extended family member to IRCC so her funds don’t need to be considered. Plus you are married so should not rely on her funds. Her funds are not that high if supporting herself and others either.

How will not including husband change? You still will not have the funds for 2 people plus tuition.

Order GCMS notes to get reasons. Purpose of visit reason could be because IBU is a private school only for international students. Should not have approved DLI status.

Having your aunt as a sponsor weakens your application.
